EmPowerTec was founded in 2001 by Andreas Awenius, Mark Kell, Thomas Meidinger and Matthias Rohrmann. Our mission is to provide software that helps our users to create better UML models, thus making their software development projects more effective.

Andreas Awenius

Andreas finished his studies of Information Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich in 1991. Since then, he has been consulting various large finance and telecommunication companies in the area of software development. Andreas now is CEO and head of development of EmPowerTec. In his spare time, Andreas is with his wife and two children, plays some chess, makes sport if time permits and enjoys an occasional movie DVD.

Mark Kell

Having lived and worked for years in the USA, Netherlands and Germany Mark has gained more than 20 years of experience in developing marketing and sales strategies for information technology companies. Mark is responsible for EmPowerTecs marketing and sales activities. In his spare time, Mark likes to be with his wife and son.

Thomas Meidinger

Thomas finished his studies of Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich in 1991. Since then he has successfully founded and grown up two IT companies. Thomas acts as head of the board of supervisors and is among other things involved in developing the general strategy for EmPowerTec. In his leisure time he enjoys all kinds of sports travelling and diving.

Matthias Rohrmann

Matthias is working as an attorney for a large German company in the field of labor law. He consults EmPowerTec in legal issues. In his little spare time, Matthias most enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters.
